Come Home to Fall Creek Lodge!

Fall Creek Lodge & Cabins is a true, four-season vacation destination located on Beech Mountain, near Banner Elk, North Carolina. Beech Mountain is a premier ski area in the winter, an outdoor mecca in the summer, and one of the most beautiful mountain resorts in all of the eastern United States.

Situated on Beech Mountain, near Banner Elk, North Carolina, in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, the lodge is unparalleled in size and beauty in this area. The deck of the Grandview Lodge features a panoramic view which includes vistas of both world-renowned Grandfather Mountain as well as Mount Mitchell (the highest peak in North Carolina). During ski season we offer the unique opportunity to stay in close proximity to all three local ski areas: Ski Beech, Sugar Mountain and Hawk's Nest.

When the summer heat is making your hometown unbearable our lodge is the perfect getaway. Situated at nearly 4500 feet of altitude on Beech Mountain the high temperature rarely exceeds 82 degrees, even in the peak of summer. Even on the hottest days the nights are cool and breezy. For those few, warmer days our lodge and cabin are both air conditioned to ensure your comfort.

Starting in late November the lodge becomes part of a winter wonderland. The combination of intermittent snows and clear, blue, sunny skies fills every day with great pleasure on the mountain. Even in the worst of snowy times Beech Mountain Road is impeccably maintained to make your travel in and out of the lodge worry free.

Springtime is filled with wildflowers, ever-increasing greenery and an aroma that is inexplicable...a magical mix of fresh, clean air and the intoxicating scent of nature on the rise.

Autumn is renowned for its' rich colors...changing every day for weeks...until the hillsides are painted with a palette rivaling even the infamous New England fall.

With a combination of facilities are proud to say that we can accommodate groups as small as 2 and as large as 50 in number. We even have an arrangement with a neighbor's lodge that has allowed us to host groups as large as 80 guests!

When you stay with us we endeavor to make you feel that the lodge is your family's home. The kitchens offer all of the cookware and dinnerware to feed your entire group. There are dozens of places for people to sit down to a meal together. The combinations of rooms and beds give you unparalleled flexibility in housing your group.

All of the sheets, pillowcases and towels are furnished for your convenience and comfort.

We pride ourselves on serving our guests at a level that they wouldn't expect in a rural retreat, while maintaining the serenity of the surroundings for your relaxation.
